This Quick Guide describes the steps for designating and managing proxies.

What is a Proxy?

Users may choose to designate a proxy in EPIC who can approve new user requests (Office Administrators).
• Note: Publish ability cannot be proxied (Contracting Officer, Lab Call Announcement Manager)
Timing: A proxy can take action on behalf of a user for a set period of time or indefinitely. While multiple proxies can be
designated, multiple proxies cannot be designated for the same timeframe.
