What is the Lab Planning Process
Lab Planning refers to EERE Technology Offices and Laboratories annually collaborate to finalize project details into an Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
Prior to each fiscal year (FY), EERE Technology Offices work in collaboration with each Laboratory to plan and negotiate the scope, schedule,
and budget for each project and once annually to plan and finalize the scope and schedule for our projects. Once all project details have been finalized, the details are compiled into a document called theAnnual the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). Each office has one AOP for each Laboratory they work with.
