This article answers common questions about project management data within Project Management Bridge. It helps you understand where data comes from, what types of projects are included, and how to address data discrepancies.

Q: Why doesn't PM Bridge import members such as TPO from PMC?
A: PM Bridge relies on data from specific systems of record. After working with the PM Bridge Advisory Council, we determined that STRIPES is the system of record for collecting DOE Team data for Financial Assistance Projects, and the AOP tool is for Lab projects. The team members gathered from these systems include the CMEI Project Lead, Contracting Officer, and Grants Management Specialist/Contracting Specialist (if applicable). If you need to add more DOE Team members, you can manually enter them into PM Bridge.

Q: Where does PM Bridge data come from?
A: PM Bridge gathers its data from various corporate systems of record, including STRIPES, STARS, PMC, CPS, and the AOP tool. You will also find that some data is manually added directly within PM Bridge. For a complete list of all available data in PM Bridge, please refer to the PM Bridge Data Dictionary.

Q: How can I obtain access to the raw PM Bridge data?
A: You can access an exportable list report in the Reports section of PM Bridge. This report provides a single, curated dataset for your projects.

Q: What types of projects are in PM Bridge?
A: PM Bridge includes data for all Financial Assistance and Lab projects that were active as of October 1, 2022.

Q: My project data is incorrect in the system.
A: Data in PM Bridge is imported from corporate systems of record. The PM Bridge Data Dictionary explains each data field and its corresponding system of record. If you find a discrepancy between PM Bridge and a corporate system of record, please contact the Help Center.

Q: Why is there limited data in PM Bridge?
A: We are developing PM Bridge iteratively, meaning we will add new data and features over time. This approach allows us to deliver functionality to you faster while we continue to develop new features.
