DOEs the AOR have to use SMS or a phone app to log into their account to review proposals? 

It is a security requirement that all users who access any EERE application must use multi-factor authentication through either SMS, phone app or the Google Authenticator Chrome Extension (https://authenticator.cc/) on the computer. 

Will you be notified if your account is about to be deactivated? 

Yes. You are notified prior to account deactivation via email. 

Who is notified when the application is Processing and submitted?

When an application is processing and once an application is submitted, the application initiator and application POCs are notified. Additionally, all users who have General and Organization Specific access to the application will be notified.

How will I be notified when the status of my application changes?

Applicants can view the status of their applications in the My Application page. They will also receive system notifications when the application is submitted and when the Concept Paper or Full Application decisions become available.

Will the release date change if the NOFO is amended?

No, the release date of the opportunity is not updated when the notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) is amended. However, you can view information associated with the modification, as well as the date that the modification was published, on the Opportunity Details page.
