Problem

My Lab Project is linked to the wrong agreement in CPS and I need to update it.

Solution

Provide steps that the user can take to solve the problem. For example "The level 7 printer will flash red when it is out of paper. Add paper to tray 1".

Once a project's CPS agreement is automatically saved or approved, you cannot change it yourself in Lab Planning. CPS handles our budget and project records, and we need to keep everything accurate and consistent.

  1. Access the EERE Help Center for Lab Planning: https://eeresystemhelp.ee.doe.gov/servicedesk/customer/portal/6
  2. Fill out the form:
    • What do you need? *
    • Description* Clearly state the problem: "My Lab Planning project is linked to the wrong CPS agreement."
    • Provide your project details:
      • Project Title: [Your Project Title]
      • LPID: [Your LPID]
      • Add additional details or explanation.
    • Identify the incorrect CPS agreement:
      • Currently linked CPS Agreement Number: [Type the wrong number]
    • Attachment: No file attachment is required. If you choose to attach a file, use the "Drag and drop files, paste screenshots, or browse" option.
  3. Submit the form.

After you submit the ticket, the Help Desk team will check it. If the CPS agreement is wrong, they will escalate the ticket to a developer. The developer will correct the CPS agreement link on our system's backend. You will get a message when it's fixed.
