This quick guide informs users affiliated with Industry, Academia, Non-Profit, Government or DOE Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs) on determining their AOR in EERE Program Information Center and SAM.gov and their registration status.

Create an Account

Accounts affiliated with an Industry, Non-Profit, Academia, Government or FFRDC must be approved by an Authorized Organizational Representative (AOR) or Account Administrator (AA) prior to applying to opportunities. An organization’s AORs are the same individuals as the organization’s POCs in SAM.gov. FFRDC AORs are a set of individuals from a pre-determined list provided to EERE Program Information Center. Please refer to the Creating an Account Quick Guide for your affiliation for more information.

Step-by-Step guide

AOR Information in EERE Program Information Center

  1. Upon registration, you can view your Industry, Academia, Non-Profit, or Government’s AOR in the Submit Request page under Authorized Organization Representative once the account registration pages have been completed
  2. If your AOR still needs to register in EERE Program Information Center to approve accounts, red text will appear notiying that your AOR has not registered Click Authenticate with OneID and Login.gov to be taken to the OneID landing page. Click on the Login.gov title in the sign on with another account section
  3. Once you submit your role request, a submission confirmation page will appear that your request has been submitted for AOR approval.
