This quick guide article describes how the Grants Officer (GO) and FAO/Acquisition and Assistance Leadership can show Business Clearance Review is required and how the announcement team can see the requirement. 

Step-by-step guide - How to Indicate A Business Clearance is Required

  1. If you are the GO, FAO/Acquisition and Assistance Leadership, from the EPIC Dashboard, go to Announcement, and select Announcement Management. 
  2. On the Announcement Management page, confirm that the All Active Announcements radio button is selected.
  3. Scroll to the row of the announcement. 
  4. Click on Action. 
  5. Select Require Business Clearance Review. 
  6. Note: EPIC will send a notification to applicable users in the system that a review maybe required if an announcement’s funding is over $50 Million. 

How to See if Business Clearance is Required

1. From the EPIC Dashboard, go to Announcement, and select Announcement Management.

3. To pass this validation, a document with the document type Business Clearance Review – NOFO must be uploaded as a final version in the Document Library.
