This quick guide article describes how the Grants Officer (GO) and FAO/Acquisition and Assistance Leadership can show Business Clearance Review is required and how the announcement team can see the requirement.
Step-by-step guide - How to Indicate A Business Clearance is Required
- If you are the GO, FAO/Acquisition and Assistance Leadership, from the EPIC Dashboard, go to Announcement, and select Announcement Management.
- On the Announcement Management page, confirm that the All Active Announcements radio button is selected.
- Scroll to the row of the announcement.
- Click on Action.
- Select Require Business Clearance Review.
- Note: EPIC will send a notification to applicable users in the system that a review maybe required if an announcement’s funding is over $50 Million.
How to See if Business Clearance is Required
1. From the EPIC Dashboard, go to Announcement, and select Announcement Management.

3. To pass this validation, a document with the document type Business Clearance Review – NOFO must be uploaded as a final version in the Document Library.
